Paula Riggins is an event planning and program/project management leader with extensive success in the special events/hospitality industry, as well as working with community groups, state and local government and political campaigns. She has experience directing and managing multi-million dollar large-scale local, national and international projects, programs, trade shows, product launches, fundraising campaigns and corporate, political and sporting events, from creation to completion.
Most recently, Paula has worked as a project manager for a major athletic company’s central territory marketing team and was responsible for successfully planning and executing consumer events, product launch events and other territory brand programs.
Prior to that, Paula was a Senior Marketing Director, at a leading integrated marketing and technologies services firm where she helped create and manage highly relevant brand experiences at some of the world’s top festivals. Paula has also directed the restaurant operations for over six City of Chicago summer festivals with multi-million dollar budgets. She has served as the liaison for the City of Chicago’s hospitality initiatives and business travel welcoming programs.
Paula holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctor degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
